Recently, 28 large outdoor LED displays of Leyard have been UWA HDR Vivid certified for outstanding visual performance. Those first batch of products received such certification in the industry demonstrate our core strengths as a global VFX technology leader.

The UHD World Association (UWA) is an international non-profit, non-governmental professional social organization voluntarily initiated by leading enterprises engaged in the manufacturing, transmission, content production, application and service of ultra-high-definition audio and video products all over the world for the purposes of conducting industry research and policy consultation, pointing the way forward for the industry, promoting UHD video technology and product innovation, and driving industry-university-research-application collaborative innovation in terms of key common areas and key products.

The HDR Vivid certification obtained by the company represents a new force in the field of dynamic HDR video standard. HDR Vivid precisely matches processing solutions for individual frames based on intelligent algorithms, and dynamically adjusts the display effect with dynamic metadata and intelligent Tone Mapping according to the brightness and color information of individual scenes for enabling end-to-end consistency and better image quality. With improved color, gradation, contrast, and intensity, pictures optimized with HDR Vivid provides viewers with a superior immersive visual experience.

Most of the HDR Vivid certified products fall into Leyard series TX platforms, a family of “standard” FPP display products officially launched by the company as a new generation of TX platforms in 2019. The full product line suits the unique needs of different indoor FPP applications. Features of this series include the common-cathode LED driving solution, single-point brightness and chromaticity correction, advanced image processing technology, image color enhancement processing, image noise reduction processing, image sharpening processing, ultra-thin front maintenance (only 20 mm thick), and support for DCI-P3.
